Your First Visit
We are 100% committed to making your visit to our office comfortable and as easy as possible.
The First Visit
Our office and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommend that your child visit the dentist by his/her 1st birthday.
For the first visit, we invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination. We recommend allowing your child to accompany our staff through the dental experience for future appointments to establish a closer rapport with your child.
We aim to gain your child’s confidence and trust and overcome their apprehension. However, you may come with your child to the treatment room if you choose to. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.

Our office amenities include:

How to Reduce Your Child’s Anxiety
As a parent, you can make the first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive. Your child should be informed of the visit and told that the dentist and their staff will explain all procedures and answer any questions. It is best if you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear, such as “needle,” “shot,” “pull,” “drill,” or “hurt.” Our office uses words that convey the same message but are pleasant and non-frightening to the child.
Safe, Fun, and Gentle
We want you and your child to have a positive experience when you visit our office. We have created a comfortable, safe, and fun environment for your children. Our office is safe, clean, sterilized, and FUN!
During your child’s first visit, they’ll receive a gentle cleaning, a fear-free exam, and digital x-rays. To help parents and children, we also design a special oral health plan for each child, including encouragement and tips on brushing, flossing, and eating right.
